I wear my contacts every hour, every day, and while I sleep. I'm told I'm not supposed to, and they are two week disposables that I usually wear for two months before I toss them out. A few years ago, I used to wake up with irritated eyes, slightly dry, but that was when I would forget to take them out for just one night. I've worn contacts, different brands for about 8 years now, and It does not bother me a bit. I even had my eyes checked before I bought another few boxes. I kinda fibbed and told them I hadn't worn my contacts for a few months. I went in with my gles on. I had my eyes checked and they said my eyes were in great shape. I'm wondering If anyone knows of any long term problems that could come up by doing this? They don't bother me ever, I wear them constantly, and nothing has changed so far. Although I keep being told I should be taking them out at night. What gives?

I'm glad Spain did this a few years ago. They banned models from being underweight. Good for them. I think this policy should be enforced everywhere. Rather than looking anorexic thin, I think the models should look healthy and be within their body weight. I believe malnourished models and the media promotes anorexia and does a number on women's self-esteem. Lights going out on the car - this one might out-fox even the foxiest of you out there....!?

I have something so weird going on, that I would gladly pay money to find out the reasoning behind it - if only I knew who to ask! At a certain point on a country road near my village, the lights on my car suddenly switch themselves off at night. Not always, but every few weeks whilst travelling down that road I will suddenly be plunged into darkness. It always happens on the same stretch of road (within about a half mile range) and turning the lights off and back on again always does the trick. This is pretty much in the middle of nowhere (Northampton to West Haddon road if anyone knows it!) and I can't think of an explanation for it. Has anyone got ANY ideas at all? BTW, it has only happened with one car in our house, our other car has never suffered this problem, but given that it has never occurred on any other stretch of road, it's got to be more than 'just' the car's electrics? I have a question. I think I am going to save up and by the Psp go because of the portability factor. I already own a psp 2000. But i only have a couple UMD's. So the UMD factor does not count. Help what do i do to my new xbox 360 dvd drive?

Hello i received the open tray error a while back. it worked after a few tries for a while but just a couple days ago the drive finally died. Well i went on amazon and purchased a new drive. The original drive was a Hitachi-LG GDR-3120L rom version 0046DG. I searched everywhere and could not find a replacement 0046DG anywhere. so i purchased a new Hitachi-LG GDR-3120L rom version 79FK. I had all of my bloodwork done thus far (I am 32 weeks) and a pap smear, but I have never before been tested for , and I didn't know if that test was included in the blood work I had done. I know some doctors typically test for STDs during pregnancy as a precaution for delivery. I dont know what it could be.. I'm 16 and I'm totally preoccupied with weight, most of my questions on here are about weight. Drummers...Do you really believe there is a better all around drummer then Tony Williams?

His playing is above many drummers heads and to understand what he does, you need to spend time with his work to appreciate it. To illustrate this point .... A drummer friend ( a pop/rock player) and I went to a drum clinic at which Tony was on the bill. Others there were Virgil danante, Dennis Chambers (others as well but these two stood out). My friend went to sleep during Tony's segment saying he was boring. What Tony did was play for his whole time, no talk, no cameras, no tapes allowed, his drumming did all the talking for me. To me, it was the most amazing and magicle thing I have seen in my life. I won't even try to explain what he did other then that. It saddens me when drummers talk about some drummers (no names mentioned) as being the best who don't belong to be mentioned beside Tony's name, and I know they are'nt even aware of who he is. Who knows, maybe they would fall asleep when hearing him play.

OR a PPO with a high deductible of $1500, $50 monthly premium, co-pay also unknown however, the company will contribute $750/yr on this plan? I understand that insurance has a waiting period of 1 year before it will cover my pre-existing condition. With no such thing as job security, is it worth it to have this high deductible plan? I have estimated that as a cash patient, I will be spending at least $3000 this coming year in endocrine lab and Dr. visits alone and will be unable to afford my already past due body scan(which is very pricey).My "out of pocket expenses would not go towards anything Cancer related", is this a true statement?. My boyfriend who was on Coumadin for 3 years for Pulminary Emboli (blood clots i lungs) and congestive Heart Failure died at hospital 1 week ago. Im not too sure if I believe this or not..Just for the fact that while he and I were there for 8 hours they never once mentioned hm having Bronchitis. ..I leave at 12:30am and at 4:00am he all the sudden CODES due to an antibiotic. When I arrived the next day to find him in ICU (which the hospital never called to tell me or his family) he was on a ventilator and in a coma. I noticed his urine had blood in it and he was SOOOO blown up. (which later in the night i found out it was blood) He ended up coding 2 more times after they injected him with what was told to me to be GLUCOSE ...the 3rd time he coded blood began spewing from his breathing tubes and every little place you could think of. In my heart I feel like something went wrong...Does this sound like he was giving too much COUMADIN?????? he was 108lbs soaking wet before the hospital. When he was pronounced dead he was 136lbs he was so full of blood and fluids. Anyone have any ideas???

He has no respect for his children and doesn't seem to want Amanda (or her brother) to go anywhere with her life. He doesn't buy them any real food and refuses to willingly pay even the smallest medical-based bills for them. He hates the fact that she has found a steady, loving, and productive relationship with me, since that represents her getting out of the hellhole he's stuck in. His doctor told him that he has to quit smoking or he's going to die, since his emphysema is worsening, but he won't. I'm not a hateful person, but I hate him. I really do. I've never truly hated anyone in my life other than him now. Amanda can't leave until she's 18 years old without screwing up her future drastically, but it's just so hard for her to be stuck there. I've suggested foster care but she says that can't work because the only thing she can realistically do is requesting to go and live with her mother in another state, which she can't do since that means losing a large local scholarship that will allow her to go to college. Emancipation takes lots of time and money, she claims. Apparently she's looked into all of it. She talks to a social worker who says they could bust him for neglect if she wanted, but again, that would send her to her mom, who refuses to move to where Amanda is now because of in-law family-feudal tensions. I would like to talk some more to her grandmother about the whole mess, but she says that will only make matters worse (I'm considering doing it anyway, I'm so pissed off). I went through something similar after I had already served a term. I couldn't find a job when I got out so went back to the recruiter looking to reenlist. I just found out 2 days ago that I am pregnant. We weren't trying, but I was aware there was a possibility so I tested early. Anyway, I have a history of one miscarriage at 10-1/2 weeks and also have a 16-month-old daughter. This being my 3rd pregnancy, I'm cautiously optimistic. Still, to ease my mind I went in for my first hCG draw today which was 45. I'm apparently 13DPO according to dates. Is this too low? I filed a tort claim with the U.S. Department of the Interior on August 5th for $741.80 damages done to my car by vandals on July 28, 2008. The Dept. of the Interior said they denied the claim because damages to my vehicle did not result from any negligent act or omission on part of the Federal Government. To further explain, I was working for The National Park Service as a volunteer at the time of the incident. I came out to my car and found a broken window and damage to my trunk. I called the police after the incident and they arrived shortly after. The policeman said an incident occured there 2 weeks prior, when a Jeep Cherokee was broken into. I had no knowledge about this incident or I wouldn't have continued to do the volunteer work. The policeman also said that when the owner of the jeep reported the incident, that the N.P. Ranger came and took the report. So the ranger came and took my report. I filed the tort claim in August and it was submitted to the U.S. Dept of Interior. What can I do now? Just want to add, that I found out the day I filed my report that the other volunteer there quit working a few weeks before me because he thought it was too dangerous. Why didn't anyone tell me this? I can't afford to get the rest of my trunk fixed. Only fixed the broken window and the lock cylinder on the trunk. Also, they have no security guard, no security patrols, or security cameras in the parking lot of where I worked. Do you think I stand any chance of collecting my damages?

I cut my lip on my braces really bad!!?

Okey so i do rhythmic gymnastics, its not regular gymnastics, so no flipping. look it up on youtube theres plenty of videos, so anyways. and i was doing my routine with clubs (those things clowns juggle with) and i threw it up in the air and i kind of caught it but it still hit my lip really hard. This is the first time ever that anything like this ever happened to me. I also have braces and i cut the inside of my lip really hard. Whenever i brush it bleeds and i can constantly feel blood in my mouth. This happened yesterday. And nowmy lip is swolen, it hurts to talk and eat cause the lip keeps catching onto the brace. First of all, I have always had a pion for singing. I started at age 8. I am now 15. Singing is my way to express myself and to relieve myself. People have told me I have a lovely singing voice but I dont really listen to them. I love singing so much that I started taking singing lessons and the vocal coach I have good "afinacion"- yes, a word in Spanish. Don't know to say it in English. My plans are to become a doctor in medicine but singing has been really interesting me. Sick after Wisdom tooth removal.?

Well i got one wisdome tooth removed this morniing it went fine, i got home took my antibiotic and my pain meds and felt good so i ate some ice cream and soup. hours past the pain began coming back so i took half of one of my percocettes cause i didnt feel i needed 2 like the dose said. I layed down for a bit fell asleep then woke up with the most severe migrain i have ever had in my life! I couldnt stand it i was shaking and i have been vomitting. I tried to take iburophen for the ead ache and some stuff for my stomach but i couldnt hold it down. Im also concerned because i know your not even supposed to spit after wisdom tooth extraction and not only did i have to spit but vomit! I have taken percocettes before and they didnt have that effect on me, im unsure on why im feeling this way any advice"?

I don't want to get fat and all the "popular" and most gorgeus girls at my school are super skinny, like healthy skinny not unhealthy skinny. I'm always the last one to leave the house in the morning and my parents want us to eat lunch. My older brother packs his lunch and leaves, I wait until everyone is gone and i make it look like I'm making lunch when really I'm not. If my parents didn't make me eat breakfast I probably wouldn't and same with dinner, lunch is the only meal that I don't eat. All my friends know I don't eat lunch and one time one of them asked if I was anorexic. I feel fat even though I'm not, I don't throw up or anything like that cuz its gross but I just don't like eating. I didn't eat breakfast this morning and when I said that to two of my friends on the bus today they were like WHAT? the only thing I had was pretzels and that was at lunch cuz i was so hungry. I had a small bowl of soup at dinner cuz I have to eat with the ret of the family. But i wasn't even hungry. My best guy friend knows that once I went almost 36 hours without eating anything but thats becuse I threw up once and was afraid to eat just because I thought I might throw up again. I'm hiding it from everyone even my best friend so what sould I do? Do you think I have an eating disorder?

A little bit ago I had a dream where I was at a carnival, same age as now (16). I was with a few friends. We had been messing around at the park, doing what ever. Any good dedicated paint store will have a laser machine that measures colors accurately then prints out the formula the clerk needs to mix that particular color. I use ICI Paint here and on one occasion, they were able to match the color of paint that had faded so I was able to do touchup without painting the whole room. (The tenant claimed to really love the faded color and didn't want the room painted back to the original.)

Hello, I am from italy. We are raised in the europe to think that americans are most racist on the earth. We are told these words by all: TV, journals, teachers and singing stars. Yes, I come to america to stay for school with american family, and I learn soon from seeing that such words are not of truth. And then I think---hmmmm, yes, I see more of the minority on TV here in the america than anywhere I have to been. My favorite TV show is George Lopez. He is funny. I cannot see in Italy any time at all that there would be a TV show with stars of, let us say, from africa or middle east, not even albania across from the sea. And there is here in america also the minority of wealth not seen in europe. And now, Obama is the leader of the world, and he is black american. What will happen to the people who spread us the lies? Why do you think they did it? Why were we so blind to these things? Is is that we want badly to see america so in ugliness that we are blind to real things?

It's becoming too much to handle?

Best thing would be to find someone from a school or somewhere around town that will offer free counseling for situations like this. If people are coming to you, that's a compliment because they believe you to be a rock, a person that they can talk to. Now you need a rock, someone to talk to that will help you vent all of these frustrations that people are putting on you. Not to mention that even though they are your family, it's really hard to be that person that everyone comes to with their problems. Maybe they don't need you to do anything about them, just listen. You can also take that opportunity to tell them how you feel and make the situation a little less one-sided. If none of those solutions work, then you just need to calmly tell them that you are dealing with this as hard as everyone else, and you would rather them not talk to you about these things. I know it sounds really corning, but talking things out with people seems to be really underrated these days. You are good in putting your needs behind others, but it's situations like this where you find yourself overwhelmed that you need to focus on the most important person right now: that is yourself.

left for dead 2 is actually much better than the first, the first is extremely repetitive and does quickly get boring. ins creed 2 on the other hand i have not even played yet, but based on the first one I would expect it to be extremely good. the first one got repetitive but it was interesting every time.
