How do I make a paper...?

On both of them it looks like they may have taken a cigarette and burned a hole but stopped it before it got too big. As far as the color goes use a used tea bag that is still wet and rub it on the article and keep it up until it gets darker. To make it darker you could also use coffee grounds but after rubbing it get the grounds off the paper.
