Do i have to make up my fajr salah?/family prays fajr at wrong time :(,wat to do?

i woke up for fajr at 6:29 and started praying at 6:35(after making wudu),i looked outside and there was a a slight red glow in the horizon(is this sunrise?) but everything else was still pretty dark,so i prayed ,hoping inshallah it was a valid salah,(if im incorrect i'll make it up)when i finished my 2 rakat's i red glow was more apparent. also when i try 2 wake up my family for fajr,sometimes they wakeup n sometimes they dont,and sometimes if they do, they pray while the sun is rising(a habit of theirs),and ive read to them the hadith of praying during sunrise,because i was confused if this was permisssible.alhamdulilah now i try to pray at the correct time,n if i see that the sun is apparently rising,i wait.i worry for them because they do this alot and i dnt want to sound like a broken record player,but they think im too radical in my beliefs when im just trying to follow Islam as it was written the best way i can, n i feel that if i learn something new about our deen or clarify something i was in fact ignorant of myself,i try to tell
