Tasha has computer problems?

she has an emachine computer and she has verizon internet. every single time the data light is off the monitor wont come on. but now the data light is on and the monitor still wont come on.there wasnt and storms and shes tried unplugging everything. the tower works fine but the monitor doesnt even have a light on and everything is plugged up right.
