Found one dead roach should I be worried?

I was digging thorough a "junk" basket looking for quarters to go to the laundromat when at the bottom of the basket I find one dead roach, I go in this basket often looking for things So I know it was there recently, My roommate works at a halfway house where there are roaches, I packed the dead one up into a zip lock bag and brought it straight down to Orkin told the situation to him I have never seen a living one here and I was up all night last night, I have put combat bait traps in ever room as well as gel bait. And put boric acid under my stove and fridge. The man at Orik said it most likely came in on her clothes and this is the only one we have but I am freaking out about it and am so stressed out my landlord wont bring in an exterminator until I actually see a living one. Any advice would be appreciated.
