Living in Little Havana?

I would like to know how it is to live in little havana, how are house prices? is it safe? is it a nice area? I'm from the UK but I've been living in Spain for 13 yrs so I can speak fluent Spanish and English, would it be alright for me to live there? I would definitely like to mix and socialize with cubans or hispanics?
