Modeling--- i dont no if i should go into modeling?

I have heaps of friends who are models and most of my family have been in modeling/adds or fashion disigneing and i have had numerous complements befor and im not fat and i wouldn't call my self ugly and i want to go into modeling but i dont no if i should like i dont want it to reck my life as i want to become a fashion designer and i want to no if i should go into modleing and if it will help me with fahsion
