CAN APPLYING AT A DEALERSHIP GET ME ANY POSITION?

Well i had my second interview with the owner and the service manager dey liked me and will give me an answer soon.but is it possible they could put me to ether drive cars up front to customers in and out or jus do oil changes.cuz i dont have a ase certification but i explained to them i do have experience.i have heard some end up doing lube and working there way up.
